Joining Together for Student Success
Parent engagement is key to student success. In San Carlos, our students benefit from strong parent involvement in school PTAs and the San Carlos Education Foundation. We encourage you to support both organizations. Together they help to ensure that our San Carlos schools continue to provide a quality, well-rounded education.
Donations supporting the Parent-Teacher Association will help fund site-specific supply, instructional, and community-building needs, as well as advocate state-wide for students and teachers. PTA funds will be used during the 2021–2022 school year and will cover critical cleaning supplies, school supplies, teacher stipends, principal funds, and other school-wide community, administrative and academic support. Suggested level of support is $250 per family, but all contributions are appreciated. Additional levels of sponsorship are available as are individual PTA memberships
Arundel tries to come close to 100% PTA participation. Let's try to meet that goal again this year!
Classroom & Learning Support: PTA fundraising has a direct impact on the classroom experience and is critical for our current learning situation. Funds provide teachers the flexibility to provide unique and customized learning, inclusive of distance learning needs with generous teacher stipends, literacy aids and classroom materials, as well as outdoor learning spaces.
Community Building & Events: Part of the mission of the PTA is to build community amongst our circle of families. We do this by holding community-building events that bring people together to celebrate our school. Stay tuned for exciting safe events that will be announced soon
Art & Special Programs: PTA funds cover much of the school supplies your child received to support their distance learning. Crayons and ad hoc materials needed to make our budding artists successful.
Advocacy: PTA advocacy efforts are critical both locally and across the state to ensure equitable funding for schools and support laws that improve the lives of all children. Your support of the PTA makes our voices heard in Sacramento and creates real positive change in our schools.
